Equipment and Signal Chain

I have a sound treated vocal booth where I lose track of what day it is. I record on a Sennheiser MKH 416, through a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 into an M2 silicon Mac running Logic Pro. Mogami Gold cables – and a hardwired gigabit ethernet connection, with Source Connect 4 (3.9 also available) for remote recording sessions. For self record, I punch and roll, and self-edit – however, I send audio files to a 3rd party audio engineer for professional compression, EQ and mastering.

Commercial voice actor and audiobook narrator with a passion for books. Avid reader. I’m that weird guy, alone in a room, reading out loud just because. History and non-fiction are my sweet spots. So are character voices and compelling dialogue. If it’s well written, I want to voice it. Interested in interesting projects. Hard worker. I’m tireless in the booth.
